As the Sr. Director of Diversity you will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and managing system-level and site level programs and initiatives that enable, promote and advance a diverse workforce and inclusive culture. You will champion an inclusive and culturally-competent work environment to better serve our associates, clinicians, patients and the communities. This includes evolving and executing our strategies for engaging a diverse and inclusive workforce, ensures execution of D&I initiatives which help UC Health meet its strategic goals and mission. In partnership and under the direction of the Chief Diversity Officer, this position will also connect with and represent UC Health in various internal stakeholder forums and partnerships designed to support Workforce Diversity, Inclusive Workplace, Health Equity & Economic Development initiatives. We are seeking individuals who are team-oriented, intellectual curious and collaborative with a change management mind-set.

Responsibilities

Job Function: Department Development and Oversight

40% Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that promote diversity and inclusion within UC Health. Direct and develop new training programs to continue to move UC Health forward Direct the strategy design and ensure the delivery of diversity and inclusion strategy, development, and delivery of related projects. Direct Diversity and Inclusion projects and program execution directly and through others

Job Function: Communicating, Marketing and Development of D&I

40% Help Direct and provide assistance to HR with diversity questions Inclusion external reputation and recognition management Serve as the benchmark resource and manage external reputation program Communicate and market diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and progress for increased awareness and engagement internally and externally. Direct and serve as the subject matter expert for assigned internal client supporting the Diversity and Inclusion vision and strategy.

Job Function: Tracking and Reporting

20% Help create and direct timely diversity and inclusion tracking and reporting. Lead and manage resources to provide D&I benchmark and insights Help Direct, Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics and feedback to measure impact and improve efforts; Strategic and data visualization Provide clear measurement of progress and encourage contribution to Diversity and Inclusion actions by people across a given org Help create and maintain the diversity and inclusion dashboard Identify predictive analytics to help identify and recommend solutions for the diversity and inclusion strategy. | Review the physical demands and assign an overall average percentage of time this position performs these activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree - HR

OD - Business or Related Field

Preferred: Master's Degree - HR

SPHR, PROSCI, Coaching certification, or Cornell Diversity and Inclusion Professionals Certification Preferred

Minimum Required: 5 - 7 Years equivalent experience

Preferred: 7+ Years equivalent experience
