Will be responsible for directing and coordinating the care and therapeutic services of the residents at Bridgeway Pointe in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations. Will provide on-going administrative and leadership support to all departments of Bridgeway Pointe to maximize effective delivery of care and meet operational objectives as defined by the leadership of Drake Center, Inc.


• Develops and implements patient care policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, while promoting implementation of best clinical practices.

• Hires, schedules, evaluates and disciplines staff in accordance with Human Resources policies and procedures and assures adequate staffing patterns to meet the needs of residents.

• Responsible for coordination and execution of resident pre-admission health assessment process.

• Schedules and facilitates care conferences with residents and responsible parties to determine progress toward Edufit and other programs that have been individually developed for each resident.

• Develops and manages the health services budget in a cost effective manner.

• Oversees the day to day operations of Bridgeway Pointe

• Interacts with Resident Services Educator to help identify training/education needs and create an environment that encourages teamwork and opportunities for professional advancement.

• Interacts with Resident Services Educator to identify and measure quality improvement opportunities that will enhance positive resident outcomes and continuity of care.

• Ensures health services personnel follow departmental policies and procedures, the Infection Control Plan, Universal Precautions, established safety rules and fire and disaster procedures.

• Works with Marketing to promote and maintain good working relationships with community organizations and agencies.

• Confidentiality. Maintains confidentiality of information regarding patients/families/significant others, health care team members, and other employees of Bridgeway Pointe.

• Infection control. Adheres to all Bridgeway Pointe infection control and employee health policies and procedures.



  • Masters degree in nursing, health care, or business administration with a focus in geriatrics.

Years of Experience:

  • Preferably worked at least five (5) years in a geriatric setting and served in a supervisory/management role. Worked in a long term care setting. Residential housing experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Currently licensed Nursing Home Administrator's license in the state of Ohio.
