  • Scheduling meetings
  • Routing phone calls
  • Typing correspondence
  • Credentialing flow
  • Certifications/licenses up to date;
  • Order food for meetings
  • Order supplies for providers (lab coats, leads, Rx pads, etc.)
  • Handling clinical calls (Epic notes, routing)
  • Talking with patients to schedule or to answer questions
  • Setting up for conferences (2-3x weekly)
  • Serving as proxy for Interventional Radiologists (IR) providers to ascertain who needs IR assistance
  • Taking notes and routing to clinical staff to schedule
  • Facilitate new conferences (Vascular Access)
  • Interdisciplinary coordination (Transplant, Nephrology, Surgery)
  • Attending Section Meetings and APP meetings, recording minutes, distributing reports
  • Enter IS&T Help desk requests for IR clinic and department staff as well as providers
  • Administrative assistance for APPs
  • Coordination of calendars with clinical staff - weekly update of conflicts and more often as needed
  • Evaluate Snap Boards in Epic to document access, triage and service issues (daily)
  • Attend IS&T meetings and conference calls as needed
  • Enter smart phrases in PowerScribe 360
  • Complete application for CCHMC
  • Schedule department photo
  • Vein clinic scheduling issues and mock Amion schedules
  • Monitor vein clinic scheduling/patient load
  • Phone tree and after-hours call issues
  • Other duties assigned


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree and/or the equivalent in education and experience in a related field preferred

  • Minimum two years experience in data base management with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Personal computer proficiency and 2 years word processing experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Access.
  • Experience with project processes and planning preferred.
  • Proven track record of problem solving skills with positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
