Executive Secretary

Job Description

Provide support the departmental senior level management team. Perform executive level administrative duties as required to support operations of the department.

Responsibilities

Leadership Support -

Coordinates Leadership meetings, prepares agenda, attends meeting and takes minutes coordinates other meetings as needed, following the specific criteria set by the meeting sponsor and providing the tools identified for the success of the meeting.

Department Support -

Responsible for coordinating needs for all departmental equipment. Responsible for conference room calendars. Maintains proficiency in desktop applications (Microsoft Office) to support needs of the organization. Uses independent judgment in creating forms and other useful tools and formats to enhance the end results. Responsible for Travel Authorization process, assisting in completion of form, obtaining signatures & processing check requests or credit card payment when needed Prepares drafts memos, letters, and departmental communications.

Qualifications

Required Education:
  • High school diploma or GED

Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
