The Patient Accounting Representative will be responsible for collection of past due accounts from patients. Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, letters, and other correspondence to collect balances, arrange payments, settlements, review discount qualifications, provide customer service, and any other activities to support the mission of the department.

Responsibilities

Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the collection function. Responsible for collection of past due accounts from patients. Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, letters, and other correspondence to collect balances, arrange payments, settlements, review discount qualifications, provide customer service, and any other activities to support the mission of the department.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: 2-5 years' experience in collections or medical collections.
