The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, check for unpaid claim status, post cash, pursue self pay cash collections, scan documents, request medical records and/or provide customer service.


Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the hospital insurance billing function. Responsible for billing hospital accounts to insurance. Billing will be accomplished by working assigned work queues in various systems.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: 2-5 years' experience in professional or hospital insurance billing and/or follow up.
