Registered Nurse (RN) - Lindner Center of HOPE - Adult Inpatient South (Part-Time, Nights)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an individual who holds a current state license to practice nursing. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The care is culturally based and age specific.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills :

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Years of Experience : At least 1 year of Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing preferred.

Required Licenses and Certifications: Current Ohio license or interim permit as a Registered Nurse. Additional credentials for special care units as identified in special care manuals. Psychiatric/Mental Health board certification preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge :
  1. Mental Health experience preferred.
  2. Ability to enthusiastically follow and model the Lindner Center of HOPE mission, vision and values.
  3. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for the spectrum of populations admitted to LCOH.
