Skin Care Specialist, Plastic Surgery (Part Time)

Job Description

This position provides various skin care services to patients including facial peels, microdermabrasion, micropigmentation, and dermaplanning. This position distributes skin care products to patients as needed.


  • Engages in population appropriate communication. Has knowledge of growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient. Identifies any physical limitations of the patient and deploys intervention when necessary. Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems.
  • Interprets population related data and plans care appropriately. Identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious / cultural norms.
  • Performs treatments, administers medication or operates equipment safely. Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect.
  • Provide skin care services to patients.
  • Distribute skin care products.
  • Answers patient questions related to skin care and cosmetic procedures.
  • Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain the patient's medical record.
  • Work directly with the physician to ensure skin care services follow all office protocols.
  • Maintains inventory log for skin care products.
  • Works with Marketing on events, website updates, and distribution of information to patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education & Skills:

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: A minimum of two years previous skin care experience.
