Sr. HRIS Systems Analyst

Job Description

Provide functional and technical support for Human Resource systems. This role will collaborate with internal technical staff to design, develop, and support solutions within the HRIS application landscape. Responsible for system requirements, development, process flows, test plans and projects. Reporting in accordance with Human Resources standards and procedures. Responsible for project management, through all phases of project life cycles, ensuring objectives are met. Business systems analysis with recommendations for improvements or enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle responsibilities for HRIS platform, integrations, configuration, data, testing, and other related components. Develop custom objects, fields, workflows, dashboards, queries and reports using multiple programming languages. Apply testing, release, and system configuration to obtain best business practice to ensure the data and system integrity. Proactively engages stakeholders for feedback as a part of the test regimens used for all customizations, upgrades, patches and other changes as part of the testing life cycle.
  • Responsibilities include vendor engagement through to issue resolution. Complete technical research, solution development, and solution alternatives or recommendations. Participates in the development of functional roadmaps that ensure the alignment of technical deliverables meet the business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system, interfaces, and modifications. Apply effective interpersonal skills when working with customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Identify, distinguish, and act upon issues, problems and opportunities. Apply critical thinking and assessment skills to analyze problems and data as a part of technical development, innovative solutions to meet/exceed customer expectations. Participates in user group meetings and conferences as required.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of complex audits, reports and queries on demand for business requirements. Maintains the data integrity of all Human Resource systems.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all personnel matters, and various federal requirements including ACA.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required
  • Must be detail oriented, with strong analytical skills.
  • Have an understanding of the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including business process analysis, writing functional specs, testing integration and creating required documentation.
  • Must have strong relational database understanding with solid skills in Access and Excel and the ability to write macros
