Sr Total Rewards Consultant

Job Description

Research, analyze, design and development a strategic direction of Compensation and Total Rewards programs to meet the organizational objectives of UC Health. Establish forward-thinking pay, benefits and Total Rewards practices necessary to retain employees and sustain a progressive and competitive posture in the regional market for the whole UC Health enterprise.

Responsibilities

Union Compensation Administration

Update and maintain union employee wages biweekly according to the contracts. • Update and maintain union wage schedules to HRIS systems. • Administer LOA wage and lump sum payment processes for benefits and policy compliance • Research and analyze employee grievance settlement payment amounts.

Union Wages and Benefits Research

In preparation of union contracts research prevailing regional wage and benefits per union. • Draft wage proposals and all necessary revisions during contract negotiations. • Legal compliance primarily of wage and hour issues and audits.

Research Total Rewards Initiatives

Align with corporate goals and initiatives to analyze and propose total rewards Solutions. • Benchmark Total Reward Trends and projected cost impacts of current and future rewards.

Oracle SME for Compensation

Benchmark and implement best practices for UCH Compensation Department. • Actively participate in Design, Deep Drives Sprints and testing of Oracle implementation.

Hot Market Enterprise or Departmental Analysis

Actively gather appropriate leadership input around perceived market weakness • Analyze the market data with turnover and engagement perspectives • Report findings, propose solutions for short and long term solutions and implement as needed.

Site Investigations

Implement a site investigation process to verify job duties match job descriptions. • Gage employee and management interactions and engagement. • Improve the public relations image of Human Resources cares for employees.

Compensation & Total Rewards Presentations

Prepare presentations Compensation and Total Rewards • Present for leadership and other employee groups as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors Degree in related field, Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: 6-10 Years of relevant experience, 10-15 years preferred.

Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
