Therapeutic Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncology -Radiation Therapy

Job Description

The therapeutic medical physicist will be qualified as a Radiation Expert as defined in the Ohio Administrative Code. This position will participate in all aspects of the radiation therapy clinic. This includes, but is not limited to, routine quality assurance and chart review, brachytherapy planning, supervision of LDR/HDR procedures, SRS/SBRT treatment planning and supervision, development, and commissioning of new programs and be capable of performing TG-142 quality assurance evaluations for Varian TrueBeams and IX linear accelerators. Experience with Aria OIS, RayStation TPS, Oncentra TPS and Flexitron HDR is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Master's Degree Medical Physics. | The applicant should have at Masters Degree in Medical Physics and have at least completed Part II or be certified as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics. | Minimum Required: Willing to certify, license or graduate within 12 months.
