UC Health is hiring a full-time Director of Ambulatory Finance and Analytics.
The Director of Ambulatory Finance and Analytics will provide leadership and support to the Ambulatory Financial Operations team that includes the planning process and support of clinic hospital outpatient departments. This position leads reporting in conjunction with the hospital-based site finance team to ensure the accuracy of reporting and leads efforts with department leadership to identify opportunities for expense management and revenue enhancement.

Knowledge of hospital clinical operations, clinical and financial informatics along with revenue cycle process and expense categorization. Proficient with Microsoft office tools; report generation from various financial systems. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaborative partnerships using a team approach. Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment .

Responsibilities
- Monthly financial reporting for all ambulatory-based clinics for the three core sites
- Summarizes operational reporting for leadership to include P & L, staffing grids, etc
- Participates in monthly close meetings with details on performance
- Investigates variances for revenue and or expense
- Annual summarization of capital requests
- Monthly reporting to the Ambulatory Capital committee
- Maintains fund pools for committee
- Maintains rolling forecast, usually quarterly updates for all hospital-based ambulatory clinic
- Trains and educates new leadership on functions of various tools used for reporting
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance-Preferred)
- Preferred: Master's Degree - MBA
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Required: 6 - 10 years of equivalent experience
- Preferred: 11 - 15 years of equivalent experience
