Executive Assistant - Women's Health Administration

Job Description

UC Health is hiring a full-time, on-site, Executive Assistant in the Women's Health Administration Department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC).

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Associate Chief Nursing Officers at UCMC. This position will relieve senior management staff of administrative and technical tasks as directed. The Executive Assistant will also a ct as a liaison between corporate offices, hospital administration offices, the departments of Alliance entities, board(s) of trustees, committee members, and all related external contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates administrative responsibilities for Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Executive Officers, Senior Vice Presidents, Chief Nursing Officers, and Associate Chief Nursing Officers.
  • Schedules appointments and meetings, makes travel arrangements, sets up special events, buffers complaints and problems, and screens telephone calls and visitors.
  • Attends meetings (as requested).
  • Makes decisions based on independent judgment and has access to highly confidential material and information on a daily basis.
  • Transcribes dictation relating to correspondence, reports, schedules, and records.
  • Attends meetings as requested to record minutes and distribute same.
  • Composes and types letters, forms, memos, and reports.
  • Receives, opens and sorts mail noting items of special importance.
  • Maintains smooth flow of paperwork such as budgets, financial reports, surveys, objectives, pay records, confidential files, manuals, etc.


Qualifications

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Five years of healthcare-related experience is preferred.
