The program coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Program supports the program directors in the execution of all elements of the residency program. Exemplary organization, communication, and problem solving skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support program directors in execution of the program and annual improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor resident progress on various regulatory measures and provide support to residents as needed.
  • Assist program leadership in planning social events for residents and faculty (e.g., graduation, holiday events, wellness gatherings, etc.)
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Maintain RESDAH program in conjunction with Program Director
  • Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives.
  • Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Maintain the program's external website and internal shared drives.
  • Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other university departments.
  • Coordinate Simulation Center scheduling and administrative tasks associated with the Sim Center
  • Track and Manage Resident Professional Development allocations and process reimbursements.
  • Assist in the facilitation of Medical Grand Rounds

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Bachelors Degree or Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. |
