HRIS Senior Analyst - IT

Job Description

The IT Senior Systems Analyst for Human Resources (HRIS) will be responsible for providing both functional and technical support for our HR systems, with a specific focus on Benefits. This role involves working closely with internal business units and technical teams to design, implement, and maintain effective solutions within the Oracle HCM application suite.

Responsibilities

Provide functional and technical support for Human Resources systems with a focus on Benefits. This role will collaborate with internal business and technical staff to design, develop, and support solutions within the Oracle HCM application landscape. Responsible for system requirements, configuration, process flows, test plans and projects.

Act as a mentor to less experienced staff by defining priorities, monitoring staff workload and assessing work quality. Responsible for project management through all phases of project life cycles, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Full life-cycle responsibilities for HRIS platform- integrations, configuration, data, testing, and other related components. Develop custom objects, fields, workflows, dashboards, interfaces and reports. Apply testing, release, and system configuration to ensure that technical deliverables meet the business initiatives.
  • Work with vendors and stakeholders to design, analyze and troubleshoot benefits related integrations. Create detailed interface specification documents and work with developers to develop and test integrations.
  • Define complex schedules, tasks and skill sets for projects. Ensure that project plans are followed and updated. Provide accurate and timely individual and project status reports.
  • Identify, distinguish, and act upon issues, problems and opportunities. Apply critical thinking and assessment skills to analyze problems and data and implement innovative solutions to meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of complex audits, reports and queries to meet business requirements. Maintain the data integrity of all Human Resource systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field (IT, Computer Science) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of relevant technical experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position.
  • Experience with Benefit plans and Benefit integrations preferred.
  • Project management and leadership experience preferred.
