It Project Analyst

Job Description

UC Health is hiring a Full Time IT Project Analyst

This role is expected to provide support and participate in concurrent projects with a low to moderate level of complexity. The position is expected to work with business units to appropriately scope project work, define milestones, identify risk, and understand funding sources using established Project Management Office (PMO) standards and tools.

Responsibilities

Project Management -
  • Coordinates projects of low to medium complexity with moderate assistance
  • Coordinates multiple projects concurrently with ongoing assessment of workload to plan for additional and upcoming work requests
  • Provides effective project coordination within and for IS&T teams, working closely with vendors, consultants, IT associates and Health Alliance users
  • Develops complete and accurate project charters with appropriate detail for the size of the project with assistance
  • Provides staffing and resource estimates for projects. Assigns and monitors tasks to team members.
  • Provides accurate and timely individual and project status reports.
  • Documents and ensures timely resolution of project issues.
  • Tracks financial status and progress of projects.
  • Provides regular and routine reports to appropriate manager about status of all project work being done or overseen.

System Definition -
  • Conducts and coordinates efforts for system assessment and selection with oversight
  • Effectively coordinates and facilitates user interaction with IS&T
  • Coordinates and/or performs the development of clear and complete functional application and/or technical specifications
  • Effectively interacts with vendors and user to evaluate and select hardware/software products.
  • Coordinates the development of appropriate contingency plans for hardware/software processes
  • Provides information and designs for testing applications and contingency plans

System Development and Support -
  • Coordinates or executes the design and performance of detailed and inclusive test plans to test and/or validate application code or products
  • Coordinates or performs the development and documentation of alternative solutions to system issues and problems
  • Coordinates development of production and ongoing support plans
  • Provides direction and support of those applications and/or systems that are implemented and supported within their team
  • Provides user training and/or support to customers and training staff
  • Provides timely and accurate support to resolve system errors and user reported problems

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience
