UC Health is hiring a full time Marketing Manager for the Marketing and Communications department
The Marketing Manager ensures alignment with the UC Health enterprises' Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values with the strategic initiatives and planning. Responsible for leading the planning and marketing strategies to grow the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Pharmacy, Primary Care, and Weight Loss service lines. This position proactively manages the Service Line relationship with key stakeholders, develops a deep understanding of business priorities, guides key content opportunities and drives execution excellence of overall Marketing & Communications plan.
The Marketing Manager will work in coordination with the Director of Marketing and cross functional teams to execute marketing and communications strategies outlined in the strategic marketing plans. The Marketing Manager will monitor marketing activities, report outcomes and mid-course correct as needed to hit growth goals. This role requires close coordination with operations and across the Marketing & Communications team. Strategic mindset, close attention to detail and innovative thinking delivers success in this role. The Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing and reporting metrics that determine ROI on dollars spent and assessing the impact.

Responsibilities
Job Function: Develop and execute an annual 360 strategic marketing plan
- Lead, develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies that distinguishes Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Pharmacy, Primary Care, and Weight Loss from the competition and drives preference and converts consumers from awareness to action.
- Execute integrated marketing plans and tactics using full range of channels and opportunities. Activate a 360 multi-touchpoint approach.
- Develop annual plans and calendars that provide the ability to drive key initiatives in support of business goals.
- Implements and integrates closely with digital, creative, insights and communication teammates and resources.
- Develop regular reporting of results and marketing return on investment to stakeholders.
- Activate a consistent optimization approach to marketing initiatives ensuring that marketing is meeting and exceeding goals in support of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Pharmacy, Primary Care, and Weight Loss.
- Create content to support marketing plans, including writing for: articles, collateral pieces, advertisements, social media and internal communications, based on need and target audiences.
- The position may also require assistance in developing strategic, proactive, and reactive media and communications plans, writing news releases, conducting interviews, pitching stories to the media, responding to requests for more information, and escorting media onsite.
- Serves as a representative for UC Health and participates in sponsorship opportunities that will engage the community.
Job Function: Service Line Business Understanding and Relationship Management
- Develop a deep understanding of the service lines, business model, business growth opportunities and points of difference.
- Develop SWOT's and drive alignment of key role of marketing and annual strategies and priorities with service lines.
- Drive trust and credibility as a strategic thought leader and partner to key stakeholders in service line.
- Maintain positive relationships with service line business partners and providers in assigned portfolios.
- In coordination with business partners, anticipate changes and trends in the market (consumers, industry, etc.) and develop appropriate position and differentiate services.
- Develop and regularly report appropriate metrics.

Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Journalism, Communications or closely related field)
