Accounts Specialist, Accounts Payable

UC Health is hiring for a Full-Time Accounts Specialist in the Accounts Payable Department at the UC Health Business Center. The Accounts Specialist will perform a variety of accounts payable tasks involved in maintaining invoicing and processing related data.

Department Details :

  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, sort and distribute incoming mail, process the way P.O. matching invoices, prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
  • Processes check requests, audit and process credit card bills, match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly.
  • Handles 1099 maintenance, respond to all vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
  • Assists in month end closing, maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
