IT QA Administrator

Job Description

The Quality Administrator position is primarily responsible for processes related to Quality Administration, external audits, policy management, problem management, change management and IT Testing Coordination.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance - Responsibility for the effective development and implementation of IS&T programs, and to ensure that all information systems products and services meet the minimum company standards and business requirements Administers change control process for zero defect product/service implementation. Ensure adequate product testing prior to implementation Administrator problem management process, including monitoring and reporting problem resolution as needed Makes recommendations to management for procedural changes and or product acquisitions to ensure quality standards are met Serves as an advisor to management and staff resources regarding quality management processes.

Coordinates IS&T Activities - To include vendor relationships, external agencies (JCAHO, etc.), UC Health departments, application, system and technical programs, quality audits, incident investigation, monitoring and improvement initiatives Responsible for updating and communicating standards related to Quality Administration. The individual will also be required to create and review with functional managers the Testing Strategy for the EMR Upgrade Projects as well as facilitate all integrated testing sessions as well as tracks and facilitate the development of any new integrated test script. The individual will also be required to conduct technical walk-throughs of the testing center and work closely with Clinical Engineering and other departments to test 3rd party integrations.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree combination of education is necessary.
