The Parking & Access Specialist will provide parking and access control support for the hospital and system including running the day-to-day operation of the Parking and Access Control Office.


  • Operates badge software equipment; processes all ID badge requests and maintains appropriate records and databases
  • Compiles and updates key control databases to insure timely issuance of keys to staff.
  • Operates parking software equipment; processes all parking requests and maintains appropriate records and databases.
  • Updates parking database with information regarding parking violations.
  • Operates security software equipment; processes all access requests and maintains appropriate records and databases.
  • Develops, audits, and monitors all databases for compliance and accuracy through creating and reviewing appropriate reports.
  • Collects fees for lost badges/keys and deposits money accordingly.
  • Answers the office phone and resolves / refers appropriately
  • Operates scrub software equipment; processes all access requests and maintains appropriate records and databases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Associate degree or the equivalent education and experience is required.

Years of Experience:
  • Three to Five years secretarial and/or administrative leadership experience.

Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Position requires strong prioritization, organizational, and time management, skills; excellent attention to detail; and the ability to perform multiple-tasks successfully.
  • Proficient and well versed with Windows word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and database development/management
  • Ability to learn new systems/computer software programs readily.
