Responsibilities
Primary Population: Student Learners
Primary Purpose: The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Department Leader with daily department administrative functions. The Program Coordinator is required to be proactive in the development of business practices and plans that improve operations and cost effectiveness, may assist other management personnel in the department as well as be responsible for payroll and department records. Must have the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, and work collaboratively with associates, physicians, vendors, and external customers to promote a positive environment.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required. Ability to work with little or no supervision is required. Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Database Management and all office equipment. Ability to interact with all associates, physicians, vendors, and customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. Hospital terminology and knowledge of patient flow is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of sites, clinicians, and programs at UC Health through which learners have the opportunity to obtain experience through structured rotations.
- Act as a liaison between regional colleges and UC Health to coordinate student rotations.
- Work with colleges to ensure the verification of student health records meet UC Health requirements, coordinate communication with faculty.
- Manage the process to ensure that all entering students are appropriately evaluated and trained before entering the clinical setting at UC Health facilities.
- Maintain professional relationships across the enterprise and provide timely service to internal and external partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED;
- Preferred: Associate's Degree
- Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience
- Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
