The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordination of volunteer services programs at UC Medical Center, working in tandem with other Volunteer Services Team members and internal UC Health leaders who utilize volunteers within their business unit. Maintains all volunteer records in appropriate databases and screens new volunteers. Develops and maintains calendar of events in Volunteer Services and provides regular communication and regulatory documentation requirements of UCMC volunteer services program.

Works in partnership with many organizational departments to assure safe and complaint deployment of volunteers at UCH and UCMC. Must provide oversight to individual volunteers including providing direction and intervention when needed.

Overall effective command of office protocols and tools, e-mail, Microsoft Office Suite of products and proper office etiquette. Ability to work independently and with others. Able to take direction from others while providing input and feedback as well.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred: Associate's Degree | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience; Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
