Location: UC Medical Center
Department: Sterile Processing
Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week
Shift: First shift, 7a-3:30p
The primary purpose of the Sterile Processing Senior Technician is to keep the highest levels of customer service and perform all activities associated with decontamination, clean preparation, tray assembly, sterilization, distribution and acquiring of instruments and supplies for the departments within the hospital. Properly train others to do the same, and stand in for Sterile Processing Leadership when necessary.

Qualifications -
Education: High school diploma or GED, minimum required. CRCST, CIS, CER, or CHL (IAHCSMM), minimum required
Years of Experience: 3-5 years minimum required
Required Skills and Knowledge: It is required that the candidate be a Certified Registered Central Service Technician who is proficient in all areas of the department, as well as with Epic, Inventory Control Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
