The Sr. Visual Media Marketing Consultant will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of visual media (videography, photography and audio) for all external and internal channels including web, social media, other digital platforms. The Sr. Visual Media Marketing Consultant will be a primary thought leader in how UC Health articulates its points of difference (storytelling) within the community, supporting both internal and external needs. They will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, implementation and workflow of a visual asset management system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual media strategy, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and project planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multimedia projects from conception to completion, including defining project scopes, billing, workflows, scheduling, anticipating and managing risks, setting timelines, allocating resources.
• Lead partnership with external vendors and agencies as needed to Review project initiatives and ensure initiatives are on track
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop best practices.
• Continuously identify and implement processes improvements for increased efficiency and quality of the visual media team.

Strategically develop and create captivating, engaging multi-media content that effectively articulates the brand's value proposition, our points of difference and delivers against business objectives.

• Develop and create multi-media (audio/videography/photography) content for UC Health, for key strategic priority growth service line projects.
• Develop compelling & articulate visual stories that continue to elevate UC Health and deliver against business objectives & metrics.
• Drive the strategic vision and perspective for visual media at UC Health, both internally and externally, for consistent brand and service line representation within the community.
• Explore creative advancements to keep the UC Health brand dynamic and at the forefront of healthcare, while staying updated on multimedia technology trends and tools.
• Support external vendors and agencies by collaborating with them on thought leadership and creative strategies, ensuring their deliverables are on time and within budget.
• Continuously conduct regular audits of visual of multimedia content and use data-driven insights to optimize and evolve future content for better engagement and results.
• Grow and develop the Visual Media Consultant by providing guidance on brand consistency and improvement across various projects and platforms.

Partner with the Brand Manager, Marketing & Creative Team to ensure multimedia content aligns with UC Health's brand identity and organizational growth goals.

• Own and execute all brand representation by ensuring high standards of execution within multimedia content.. Align visual content with the brand's guidelines, core values and mission.
• Develop and enforce a visual brand strategy, maintaining quality standards for media assets to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Maintain, monitor, and audit the brand's visual image in multimedia content. Improving visual content's alignment with the brand's identity and correct inconsistencies. Align visual content across marketing campaigns and teams.
• Translate the brand's messaging and values into visually reinforcing content.
• Design and implement education for marketing team on maintenance of brand visual identity.

Asset Management - Own and manage the visual asset warehouse for all video, photo, and audio.

• Develop and maintain a systematic asset management system to catalog and categorize visual media files, including images, videos, audio, and design materials.
• Develop and implement strategy for metadata & keyword tagging to ensure efficient retrieval and searchability of assets for the Marketing department.
• Track asset usage, licensing, and permissions to ensure compliance with copyright and licensing agreements.
• Develop and oversee a backup and recovery plan to safeguard against data loss, ensuring that assets are backed up regularly and can be restored in case of emergencies.
• Optimize multimedia assets for various platforms and devices, ensuring optimal loading times and performance without sacrificing quality.
• Generate reports and analytics on asset usage, performance, and ROI to inform decision-making and improve the asset management process.
• Manage assets for project and campaigns with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and content creators.
• Manage the entire asset lifecycle, from creation and acquisition to archiving and retirement, making informed decisions on when to update, archive, or remove assets.
• Monitor compliance of media assets and content for legal, ethical, and copyright regulations.
• Design, train, and support internal and external teams on utilization of asset management tools and best practices, fostering efficient asset utilization.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance asset management processes, strategies, and software tools to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree - Marketing, Informatics, Visual Arts, Arts & Sciences or related degree.

Minimum Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
