UC Health is hiring a full time Talent Management Manager

This position is a key member of the UC Health Talent team and is accountable for developing, facilitating, leading, and consulting on performance management and employee engagement processes for employees and leaders across UC Health. Reporting to the VP, Talent & Engagement this person will serve as a consultant and partner to our HR Technology team, HR Business Partners, and compensation, and this person will influence and own the strategy around process development, change management, and oversight to the Performance Management and/or Employee Engagement programs.

Responsibilities

Talent Management Planning & Enablement
  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance management strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and application of performance management best practices and tools
  • Enable People Leaders with tools and resources to effectively manage performance and / or employee listening/engagement
  • Present engagement results and support leaders in action planning and team communications

Process Ownership
  • Own end-to-end performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluation, performance calibration, etc.
  • Ensure performance processes are efficient, effective, and demonstrate best practices
  • Own 3rd party vendor relationship with employee engagement vendor(s), and enable leaders to display and embed engagement best practices
  • Monitor and analyze trends and data to drive improvements in processes

Collaboration and Partnership
  • Partner with HRBPs, Compensation, and HR technology to align performance management with talent strategies in support of business objectives
  • Foster strong relationships, collaboration, and partnership across stakeholder departments to drive successful outcomes
  • Align with other leaders across UC Health who own adjacent measures, and partner on narrative, communication and enablement of joint outcomes

Change Management and Communication
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of performance management initiatives and/or employee listening/engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, addressing concerns and driving alignment
  • Monitor employee sentiment and support needs through closed loop feedback and ensure actioning/remedy as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
  • 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience required
