Bonus: Bonus up to $15,000.00

Provide diagnostic testing and participate in all operational aspects of the vascular laboratory.


  • Engages in population appropriate communication. Has knowledge of growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient. Identifies any physical limitations of the patient and deploys intervention when necessary. Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems. Interprets population related data and plans care appropriately. Identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious / cultural norms. Performs treatments, administers medication or operates equipment safely. Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect.
  • Conduct vascular tests, duplex and physiologic, according to laboratory protocols.
  • Record test data accurately.
  • Recognize significance of normal, abnormal, critical and unusual findings.
  • Produce accurate preliminary reports.
  • Appropriately enter and use information in the electronic medical record.
  • Assist internal and external users of our service with appropriate test / indication selection.
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, their families and physicians. Manage the testing schedule in an effective and timely manner.
  • Assist in training an supervision of tests for nonregistered vascular technologists or students.
  • Identify and pursue educational opportunities.
  • Maintain daily log and tabulate monthly statistics.
  • Participate in research studies.
  • Maintain a clean work area and report equipment service needs.
  • Sustain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work cooperatively with support staff.


Education & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have ultrasound training or a Bachelor's degree in health care-related field with ARDMS registered vascular tech or registry eligible within 12 months
  • Graduate Degree preferred

Skills: One year previous experience in a health care facility or service oriented industry preferred.
