UC Health is hiring a Full Time Revenue Cycle Manager for the PBO Coding Department
Responsible for the management, leadership, and coordination of all activities associated with revenue cycle systems and reports. Interacts with vendors, consultants and other departments to ensure efficient and effective use of the financial and revenue cycle systems. Provides direction to one or more Revenue Cycle support teams, as well as, project leadership as it relates to the various revenue cycle systems. Responsible for all the daily activities associated with the Systems/Reports area. Provides instruction and training of staff. Sets expectations, manages performance, rewards, coaches, provides feedback and performs yearly evaluations of each member of the team.

Responsibilities

Project Management:
- Develops or assists in the completion of project charters, with appropriate details for size of the project, assigns and monitors tasks to the team members.
- Provides effective project coordination with vendors, consultants, staff, systems, and users, provides staff and resource project plan estimates.
- Provides accurate and timely individual and project status reports.
- Gathers updates of project status weekly and ensures timely resolution of project issues.
- System definition:
- Oversees the maintenance of the revenue Cycle support systems to insure compliant setup
- Effectively coordinates and facilitates user interaction with Systems and IS to define and validate system requirements

- Manages and/or performs the development of clear and complete functional applications and/or technical specifications
- Attends meetings within the departments that affect staff work, payer changes and system changes
- Coordinates the development of appropriate contingency plans for hardware/software processes
- Management of System and Report Activities:
- Encourages and displays actions that result in highest client satisfaction
- Provides effective coordination with vendors, consultants, users, IS&T and systems staff
- Provides effective direction to one or more application system teams
- Ensures that change management procedures are followed
- Ensures that project plans are followed and updated
- Maintains quality process and review of team members' output
- Coordinates and directs meetings between departments
- Responsible for interviews, hires, and performance evaluation of associates within the unit
- Communicates performance expectations and actively mentors personnel for success
- System Development and Support:
- Oversees the execution of requested Revenue Cycle reports
- Manages or performs the development and documentation of alternative solutions to systems issues and problems
- Manages the development of databases according to standards
- Possesses detail knowledge of the applications and/or systems that are implemented and supported within their team so that the individual can give guidance, set direction, and support as needed
- Provides input to system reports, including updates that occur within the department
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management.
- Preferred: Master's Degree. *Bachelors Degree combination of education
- Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
