To assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements by recording financial transactions in the general ledger system, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts, and resolving outstanding items on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

Reconciliation and analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy of account balance. Analysis should include all documentation necessary to support the balance, an explanation of outstanding items, and action taken to resolve the items. Outstanding items should be resolved within 60 days.

Prepare journal entries during month end close processing to record activity. Journal entries should include proper documentation to support the entry and an explanation of the transaction.

Exhibit knowledge and understanding of corporate capital expenditure and capitalization policy and accurately add/dispose fixed assets in the Lawson system.

Continually review processes and procedures and identify potential improvements. Develop plan and implement process improvements by working within and outside department.

Complete projects and special assignments as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree In Accounting | None Required (or List Required and Preferred) | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
