Accounting Specialist

Job Description

This position may work in different finance areas supporting the Accounting/Finance team. This position will focus heavily on reconciliations of the cash ledger system, accounts receivable sub-ledger and numerous general ledger accounts. General Ledger duties can include keying entries into the general ledger system, pulling data files for reconciliation purposes and performing reconciliation steps for general ledger accounts.

Responsibilities

Daily and Monthly ledger reconciliation between multiple financial systems. Assist Accounting Staff with preparing Financial Reports - 50% � Preparation of supporting financial schedules - 15% � Keying entries into the General Ledger - 15% � Scanning and linking journal entries - 10% � Other Duties as assigned - 10% | Review the physical demands and assign an overall average percentage of time this position performs these activities. These physical demands will not be listed or rated on the annual performance appraisal.
