Administrator- It App Systems, IS&T, First Shift

UC Health is hiring a Full-time Administrator- It App Systems for the IS&T department for the first shift to work remotely on a hybrid schedule within IN, KY, or OH.

Supports, tests and administers UC Health site and enterprise applications. Works with IS&T and departmental associates to assess and implement Group Policies, perform software packaging and installation using Tanium, perform workstation patching coordination. Will also manage software and OS updates, as well as workstation image creation, provisioning and maintenance. Will also support bitlocker and drive encryption tools and technology and provide enterprise printing support.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include application support, interacting with users to define and validate system requirements, interacting with vendors to evaluate and select products, providing information and designs for testing applications, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems related to all LAN applications, and performing complete testing of software to ensure that system requirements are met.
  • The responsibilities of this role include recommending and scheduling maintenance repairs when needed, performing application patching and upgrades when needed, performing system administration to implement applications, processing work requests according to department standards, and installing, supporting, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
  • Will be responsible for setting standard operating procedures, providing timely and accurate support to resolve system errors and user reported problems, researching new application functionality and technologies, and maintaining stable application environments. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong process and project management skills and must be able to coordinate with team members and provide resource estimates.
  • As well as document and facilitate issue resolution, raise issues to the appropriate level, provide accurate and timely individual status reports, and track resource usage in PMO/Help Desk Ticketing software application. Additionally, this individual should attend and participate in department staff, team and individual meetings.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science combination of education
  • Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
