Agency Staff Coordinator, Nursing Operations, First Shift

UC Health is hiring a full-time Agency Staff Coordinator for the Nursing Operations department for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

This position serves as administrative liaison for the hospital to external agency vendors coordinating the administrative functions to meet regulatory, legal and accreditation requirements for contracted agency relief employees. The individual serving in this role is responsible for creating, maintaining and managing accurate agency master files, agency personnel employee files and data base for the hospital agency personnel contracts. Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Works collaboratively with Agency vendors, Hospital Leaders and Operations Team members.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains accurate, complete agency master files and data base for the current hospital agency personnel contracts as well as for individuals hired to work in relief positions for specified time periods at the hospital. Ensures agency personnel files are in compliance with state, federal, and local requirements and meet Joint Commission Joint Commission Human Resource Chapter Standards.
  • Manages Hospital-Agency vendor email account. Responsible for reading, responding, and taking appropriate and necessary actions for seamless, consistent, and complete communication with vendors and hospital department leaders.
  • Coordinates andparticipates in meetings and other activities related to various staffing effectiveness projects. Assists in data collection for reporting current agency usage metrics and for forecasting future agency contract needs.
  • Completes tasks according to established timelines related to agency personnel onboarding. Tasks may vary and are specific to individual agency personnel's job requirements.
  • Gathers, organizes and communicates agency data to internal departmental leaders and hospital operations team.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Business or Healthcare Management.
  • The Agency Personnel Coordinator should have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office electronic programs and communication platforms including WORD, EXCEL, TEAMS, POWERPOINT.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as a strong desire to complete repetitive tasks and processes for accurate filing and document management
