Job Description
UC Health is hiring a Full-Time Clinical Nurse (RN) Manager for the Neuroscience Acute Care Department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC).
The Clinical Nurse (RN) Manager will support UCMC 's Neuroscience Acute Care Department, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care, and according to policy and procedures. The Neuroscience Acute Care RN Manager also designs, implements, and evaluates patient care by coordinating, delegating, and supervising the care of the healthcare team, including licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, health unit coordinators, and other health professionals. The Neuroscience Acute Care Department cares for acutely ill post-op patients, strokes, neuromuscular diseases, and spine disorders. This is a level 4 epilepsy center with (2) 2-phase trials including induction of seizures with scalp electrodes, then electrodes placed directly on the brain dura for potential lobectomy.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- BSN is required
- Current nurse licensure is required
- Professional certification desired
- Three to five years of management experience
