Data based management including: downloading, editing, printing, sorting, transcribing, retrieving, filing of confirmed electrocardiograms. Administrative support, customer service and other general office duties.


  • Work Preparation and Transcription Functions: During EKG hours of operation, collect EKGs disks. EKGs must be downloaded, printed and sorted for physician reading.
  • At times, may be responsible for diction when EIPC is down.
  • Customer Service Billing and Reports: Customer service is provided to both internal and external departments requesting patient records.
  • The department normally operates on a 24 hour turn around for EKG interpretation.
  • Daily reports and billing of EKGs is performed generating revenue for the department.
  • Administrative Support: Database manager, maintaining and producing statistical reports is required daily.
  • Other secretarial and general office duties are performed such as work processing, faxing, copying, ordering and maintaining department supplies, answering multi-line phone, and handling confidential employee and patient information under supervision of a director or managers.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems that arise and corresponding with the appropriate manager.
  • Perform administrative support for Respiratory Care and PFT.


  • High School Diploma or GED & Medical transcription and secretarial
  • 1-2 Years equivalent experience
