This position is responsible for monitoring, operating, trouble shooting and performing all preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to all equipment associated with high-pressure steam boilers. Responsible for uninterrupted, efficient, safe and economical operation of all equipment.


  • Provides quality workmanship relating to co-workers and managements needs as described by way of work orders or described in preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Monitors and records operating system parameters, such as boiler and chiller loads, water usage, steam generation, chiller discharge temperatures, as well as noting any anomalies with system expected performance.
  • Monitors all Energy Center equipment to assure uninterrupted service of heating and cooling to the campus.


High School Diploma or GED - Minimum Required ? Associates Degree - Preferred Degree - Mechanical Engineering or applicable related field of study. | Ohio actively licensed Stationary Engineer ? Ohio actively licensed High Pressure Boiler Operator | 2 Years equivalent experience - Minimum Required ? 5 Years equivalent experience - Preferred
