UC Health is hiring a Full-time IT Epic Ambulatory Systems Analyst for the IS&T department for the First shift to work remotely (IN/ KY/OH only)
The Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting designated software applications in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. Works with users to define system functionality, information flow, reports, and data requirements. Develops specifications and documents operational procedures, tests software, and coordinates software release procedures.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate who can facilitate effective system design and definition for both existing and new system functionality. The ideal candidate should have a detail knowledge of the application data and database, and should be able to act as a resource and subject matter expert for THA Departments.
- The candidate should also be able to facilitate complex system upgrades and assist in the evaluation of system hardware and software products. They should also be able to document system requests using the Service Request and Analysis Checklist formats, develop and test complex testing scenarios, develop accurate complex Functional and Technical Specifications, and follow change management procedures developed by UC Health.
- In addition, they should be able to audit application processes or personnel to ensure highest quality outcomes, provide Production support on specified applications, maintain an ability to develop adhoc reports independently, develop quality complex system code for supported applications, and maintain assigned system resource files. Mentoring less experienced staff is also a requirement.
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to fill the role of Project Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, coordinating tests, creating and updating project financial tracking, creating complex project work plans and charters, determining schedules and skill sets of team members, working with departmental sponsors to resolve project issues and risks, managing workload priorities, facilitating activities across IS&T Departmental Teams, ensuring project plans are followed and updated, providing accurate and timely individual and project status reports, documenting and ensuring timely resolution of project issues, and facilitating complex system upgrades. This position will also serve as a resource to other projects.
- We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and provide system definition services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing system tables, parameters and set-up to optimize application functionality. They should be able to interact effectively with vendors and end users to evaluate and implement products. Furthermore, they will be required to provide information and designs for testing applications, develop contingency plans and timelines for system enhancements that do not warrant project charters and work plans. Accurate application functional and technical specifications must be developed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree in Information Systems or related field required.
- Epic clinical application certification strongly preferred.
- Two or more years' experience with computer applications (programming, analysis, or end user with demonstrated understanding of application) in a PC or mainframe environment preferred.
- Healthcare systems experience desired.
- Applications knowledge in UC Health current systems preferred.
