IT Systems Analyst Epic PB Claims, IS&T, First shift

UC Health is hiring for a Full-Time IT Systems Analyst Epic PB Claims to work remotely within IN, KY, or OH.

Position requires expertise and knowledge in system development and support as it relates to the UC Health Epic Application. Activities with this type of support will include, but not limited to; documenting solutions and alternatives for problems/issues that occur, execute efficient and effective design changes to the application, and perform required testing of software changes to minimize the risk to the application, while maintaining UC Health IT and Corporate Standards.

Support and Maintain the Epic application for UC Health professional billing, known as Resolute Professional Billing, Claims and Electronic Remittance to ensure optimal utilization, functionality and availability. Serves as the primary representative to install upgrades, patches and fixes.
  • Maintain an ability to build and configure the navigation components within the text-based administration side of Epic. Ability to fully understand the Epic's facility structure and staff-related concepts such as it relates to user logins and security. Understand the managing of users' access to Epic functionality through security classes, enhancing the users general Hyperspace experience through Role and Profile records.
  • Build and maintain, but not limited to, creation and application of work queues, general ledger, charge router, Professional Billing security set up, and statement setup, claim definition/setup and Remittance setup. Able to build data sets, master files and reports, perform quality assurance and integrated testing, and release new functionality to end-users.


  • Associate degree in information systems or related field
  • Two or more years of experience in Epic applications
  • Certified in Epic Resolute Professional Billing Administration module, preferred
  • Certified in Epic Professional Billing Claims module required
  • Certified in Epic Professional Billing Remittance module required
