Responsibilities
Program Development and Implementation
- Design, implement, and maintain a holistic wellness program focused on improving health outcomes, reducing risk, and managing medical costs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clinical partners to integrate physical health, mental health, and psychological wellness services.
- Develop and deploy system-wide wellness campaigns and an annual calendar of wellness activities and onsite initiatives.
- Establish policies, standards, and operating procedures to ensure consistent program governance and quality.
- Partner with Marketing/Communications to develop strategic messaging, digital content, and employee wellness resources.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Leadership
- Design and manage the EAP to ensure alignment and integration with organizational wellness initiatives.
- Lead EAP branding efforts to increase awareness, access, and utilization.
- Oversee EAP consultants and service delivery to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Maintain a limited client caseload to support program excellence and clinical insight.
Vendor and Partner Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with wellness vendors and external partners delivering health promotion services.
- Hold vendors accountable for contractual deliverables, performance standards, and service guarantees.
- Monitor performance metrics and manage service level agreements in alignment with wellness strategy.
- Evaluate vendor performance and emerging solutions to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
Strategic Planning, Measurement and Reporting
- Stay current on evidence-based research, trends, and best practices in wellness, health promotion, and employee well-being.
- Analyze wellness data and reports to identify population health trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish measurable goals and monitor progress toward strategic outcomes.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate results and progress to leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and/or Human Resources.
- Independently licensed mental health professional.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certified Wellness Specialist (CWS), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), or other relevant certification preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to pursue one.
Experience and Leadership:
- 3-5 years of related professional experience, including experience leading teams.
- Demonstrated progressive responsibility in department, personnel, and budget management.
- Program and project management experience, with a proven ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution.

Technical and Systems Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate knowledge of HR systems and data sources.
