Job Description

UC Health is hiring a Full-Time Marketing Manager for the Marketing and Communications Department.

The Manager of Advertising & Consumer Marketing will work in coordination with the Director of Marketing & Brand Growth to enhance UC Health's brand visibility, relevance, market share, and ultimately drive new patient acquisition. This position will work with external agencies and internal partners to develop, manage, execute, and optimize advertising campaigns. They will be responsible for Paid Media, Social Media, and Integrated Marketing activities. As the voice of the consumer for the department, this position will lead analysis and market research to understand consumer behavior leveraging the insights to help the Marketing and Communications department raise brand awareness, drive organizational growth, and improve UC Health's brand positioning. This position will also lead the development and implementation of the annual CRM Plan in support of delivering consumer acquisition goals. The Manager of Advertising & Consumer Marketing will bring a spirit of constant learning and optimization to the department's work in support of the organizational goals.

New Patient Acquisition, Advertising & Marketing Initiatives
  • Maintains relationships with multiple agencies and partners to drive compelling activations.
  • Manages the delivery of compelling ROI focused marketing campaigns & activations to achieve priority brand and business objectives leveraging paid, earned, and owned media strategies.
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight across key paid and owned marketing channels; including Paid Media and Organic & Paid Social Media.
  • Works with external agencies to establish and meet project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identifies industry/consumer trends and incorporates innovative activations into the marketing plans.
  • Leads performance-based marketing optimizations through data collection, analysis, and strategic recommendations in partnership with key stakeholders across the department and system

Lead Integrated Marketing Across the Department
  • Maintains the integrated department calendar (secondary brand campaigns) based on key organizational dates/events and known dates/events for healthcare recognition, awards, etc.
  • Manages and communicates integrated marketing updates and priorities with teams across the department and ensure consistent communication with key stakeholders
  • Partners with Consultant, Integrated Marketing to lead effective Channel, Editorial, and Integrated meetings held each week and month.
  • Works with key cross-functional departments across the organization to ensure that the integrated plans are in support of driving organizational goals and priorities.

Voice of Consumer Implementation
  • Leverages segmentation of consumer attitudes and behaviors to fuel acquisition opportunities identifies strategic initiatives, and drives test and learn opportunities within advertising plans.
  • Increases internal customer-first thinking, tells the story through voice of consumer data analysis, and reports and recommends key opportunities for growth.
  • Strives to be a huge collaborator, always working hard to bring others along to build great relationships and partnerships.
  • Leads projects through the research process including study design, implementation, analysis, and consulting on results implementation. Including the selection and use of all external research service providers.

CRM Strategy & Management
  • Develops the CRM annual calendar, touchpoints, and email cadence to ensure optimal engagement and results.
  • Manages vendor relations for direct marketing constituents, including budget oversight.
  • Establishes, tracks, and achieves CRM key metrics to drive growth of the business.
  • Partners with key UC Health departments & Service Lines to ensure successful consumer acquisition and loyalty in support of business priorities.

Management of Staff
  • Supports 4 direct reports in delivering projects with excellence while creating a culture of learning, sharing, and growth.
  • Fuels a team of high-performing individuals leveraging the diversity of skills and expertise to achieve organizational and marketing goals.

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communication, Health Planning, Health Administration, or related degree is required.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree.
  • 3 years of equivalent experience is required.
  • 5 years of equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Previous management experience is preferred.
  • Strategic mindset, close attention to detail, problem-solving, innovative thinking skills, and being proactive is preferred.
