UC Health is hiring a full-time Patient Transportation Manager for the Patient Transportation department.

The Patient Transportation Manager is responsible for the effective leadership of Patient Transportation services which includes the successful management of supervisors, finances, client relations, patient and customer satisfaction, program quality standards, performance improvement, and personnel performance.

  • Develops and executes the daily activities of the Patient Transportation Department in accordance with customer expectations, service requirements, and objectives.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and manages daily work assignments of staff.
  • Ensures the efficient flow of trip assignments.
  • Develops policies and procedures and coordinates with other departments.
  • Evaluates operations and makes staff adjustments as needed to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Secures and develops supervisors and associates through training so they meet performance standards.
  • Evaluates and counsels personnel on work performance.
  • Makes recommendations for hiring and termination of associates.
  • Manages information technology systems and data analysis for decision support.
  • Compiles statistical reports including productivity and analysis reports utilizing computer databases when possible.
  • Creates and manages the budget.
  • Establishes operating standards and implements quality improvements.
  • Develops policies and procedures to meet operational demands.


  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Required: 1 - 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Preferred: 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Prior experience leading teams is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of working in a Union environment is strongly preferred.
