Job Description

Responsibilities
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of prehospital clinical care, operations, administration, and continuous quality improvement.
Ability to provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting standards and monitoring performance.
Skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions to problems.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people resources.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While the position will work in a normal office environment, travel to the various hospitals and work locations will be necessary. Work hours will vary from time to time depending upon the needs of the business. Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required for this position.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Associate's Degree preferred.
Certified Paramedic Required (National Registry or Ohio preferred
Ohio EMS Instructor, AHA Instructor, NAEMT instructor preferred
Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of 5 year's experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Make operational and programmatic decisions that have a significant impact on the successful achievement of program strategies and objectives; develop coordinate and advise staff regarding program policy.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative research techniques; investigate trends, and recommend and implement modifications to improve program effectiveness.
- Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned programs to include developing and implementing procedures, processes, services and systems; train employees in proper methods and procedure and ensure correctness to work. - public events and other related programs develop and coordinate new ideas and concepts for program the materials and resources to supplement, expand or replace existing programs components.
- Maintain liaison with other programs, offices and departments. Interface with external organizations to ensure efforts are enhanced and available resources are utilized.
- Prepare budgets and grants; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds appropriately.
- Provide staff leadership. Recommend various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide in person, virtual, asynchronous, and simulation-based education of prehospital care providers, medical students, and residents.
