To perform Inspections, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, calibrations, modifications and additions to the Potable Water, Medical Gases, Sprinkler, Sewage, drainage and related auxiliary equipment and fixtures associated with the Plant Operations & Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities

  • Operates, repairs, installs, replaces, tests and inspects Potable Water, Medical Gases, Sprinkler, Sewage, Steam and Drainage systems and related auxiliary equipment insuring all systems are operated in a safe, reliable and efficient manner and that all work performed meets or exceeds all federal, state, and city codes and standards.
  • Installs and/or inspects new equipment associated with PO&M insuring all work meets or exceeds the design specifications along with meeting or exceeding all federal, state, and city codes.
  • Interprets prints, manuals, and diagrams to determine layout, location, parts and supplies needed to complete all assigned workorders/tasks in an efficient, safe and timely manner.
  • Accurately documents time and work performed on each task worked on.
  • Assists other trade workers in performance of routine maintenance, renovation and construction projects.
  • Maintains housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

High School/GED

Must have a State of Ohio Plumbers License and two years direct related work experience; or high school/GED diploma and 5 years direct related work experience.
