UC Health is hiring a full time Policy Coordinator
The Policy Coordinator at UC Health will support the Policy Manager in the development, implementation, and Maintenance of policies and procedures that ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements. This position will work collaboratively with teams across the system to assist in policy build, upload and implementation per the UC Health process.

Responsibilities
Policy Program/Project Administration
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating UC Health policies and procedures to ensure they meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of policies, procedures and related documentation to include facilitation of review from assigned reviewers and sponsors.
- Assist in driving timely review/revision, posting and archiving of policies.
- Support the design and delivery of training programs for staff and faculty as needed on the policy program and process for UC Health.
- Assist with routine department support functions, including point of contact for internal team members, timeline/workflow of policy submittals and UC Health's communication tactics for communications with stakeholders throughout the system.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, standards and best practices.
- Assist in making necessary policy adjustments to maintain compliance.
Data Collection and Reporting
- Prepare reports as directed by the Policy Manager on policy activities, compliance status and areas for improvement for review by the Policy Manager and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in audits and assessments to identify gaps for areas for improvement.
Policy Software Maintenance
- Ensure policies are accurately drafted according to the UC Health policy program standards.
- Assists with monitoring software workflow completion and accuracy.
- Ensure policies are accessible to all employees and assist stakeholders in end-user training.
- Assist with monitoring policy submittals for appropriate formatting, design and verbiage.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with department leaders and subject matter experts to gather input and feedback on policy drafts and revisions.
- Communicate with teams across the system regarding statuses to provide visibility and awareness.

Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Associate's Degree in Organizational Leadership, Business, Project Management, or related field
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Required: 1-2 years equivalent experience
