The primary role of the Ob/Gyn Project Manager is responsibility of overseeing ongoing initiatives and project that contribute to our enrollment in the Ohio Department of Medicaid's Comprehensive Maternal Care Program. This program is focused on both supporting and rewarding health systems who provide a high level of care to Medicaid-enrolled pregnant and postpartum patients. This role would supervise ongoing projects by compiling, analyzing and interpreting data and by using Process Improvement science to drive program initiatives:

Minimum Required: BA/BS required | Minimum Experience Required: 3 - 5 years.

Master's Degree preferred. | Certified Healthcare Professional, PMP Certification, or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred

Responsibilities

Service Improvement:

Leads service improvement efforts at UC Health through documentation and analysis of existing processes, management and improvement of applicable computerized systems, and specification and design of new or modified processes to consistently deliver initiatives across the organization. Selects and utilizes process improvement tools and techniques, whether Six Sigma, Lean, or other. Researches best practices and integrates process improvement methodologies that are data driven, systematic, and reliable into performance improvement activities.

Project Management:

Works with the departmental team and other departments (eg. Nursing, Support Services, etc.) to define projects and set the project scope; plans for project resource requirements (time, labor, and/or financial); set deadlines, and track progress of improvement initiatives. Ensures completion of team administrative functions in order to promote effective meetings. Manages multiple projects through prioritization and delegation, as appropriate, in consultation with the department director.

Quantitative Analysis/Data Management:

Analyzes and interprets data collected from various database systems to identify performance improvement opportunities. Assist with defining and tracking success metrics for improvement initiatives. Provides graphical analysis to establish relationships in data, and reach supportable conclusions based on available data. Uses benchmarking processes to identify best practices. Develop reports and query databases for custom reports to support the team's informed decision making and appropriate reporting of the data to the appropriate committees. Lead efforts to maintain and manage all data management programs as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: BA/BS required | Minimum Experience Required: 3 - 5 years.
