Department: Environmental Services- Floor Tech
Hours: 11pm-7:30am
Shift: Third

UC Health is hiring a full time, third shift floor tech associate for our Environmental Services team at Daniel Drake Center.

As a floor tech associate you take charge and give directions to other Environmental Service associates while performing the same duties as other associates in the group. Regularly performs all tasks of department associates including check-outs, stripping & waxing floors, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning & moving beds, moving furniture and completing set-ups. Performs typical duties of a leader, such as transmitting work instructions from supervisor to other associates, assigns work duties to associates, trains new employees and manages the unit in the absence of the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Perform typical duties of a leader, such as transmitting work instructions from supervisor to other associates, assign work duties to associates, trains new employees & manages the unit in the absence of the manager.
  • Dust and damp mop resilient floors.
  • Operates buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, strip/scrub & refinishes floors.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience
