Responsibilities

- Oversees daily operations of switchboard operators; dispatchers, paging, emergency calls, monitoring, on-call schedule, and patient information.
- Maintain staffing schedule & process payroll.
- Maintain pager inventory & provide pager exchanges. Liaison with paging vendor.
- Establish & enforce work standards & quality improvement goals.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
- Evaluate staff's performance & provide feedback.
- Interview candidates for openings and make hiring recommendations. Oversee training of new hires & provide orientation.
- Administer performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Update facility & staff directories annually.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate's Degree required
- 1 year supervisory and experience in call-center environment
