Job Description

Assist in coordinating the work of the electric shop by planning activities and arranging work crew schedules in a designated area and/or coordinates schedules with other trades. May perform master trade work.

Responsibilities

Maintains an inventory stock of parts and equipment; prepares related records and reports; performs master trade work. - 50% � Estimates costs; may prepare specifications for minor repairs which may be done by work crews or outside contractors; inspects the work to ensure compliance with specifications. - 20% � Assist in coordinating respective trades shop and/or other various trades areas on a construction project; may coordinate schedules with other work crews. - 10% � Maintains equipment and/or buildings' internal system and other related areas to acceptable levels as required. - 5% � Maintains housekeeping conditions in the shop as prescribed by area. - 5% � Accurately documents time and work performed on each task worked on. - 5% � Performs other related duties as assigned. - 5% | Review the physical demands and assign an overall average percentage of time this position performs these activities. These physical demands will not be listed or rated on the annual performance appraisal. Qualifications

Required: High School/GED diploma | recommended Associates degree or its equivalent experience in the Electrical trade | plus 4 years related work experience; 1-year supervisory exp.
