Physical Therapist (PT), First Shift, Physical Therapy Department
UC Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) for the physical therapy department for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The Physical Therapist (PT) will support the Medical Centers physical therapy department and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist (PT) is an individual who evaluate, plan, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs for referred patients to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and return to his/her maximum function. Follow hospital department approved policies related to documentation, attendance, education, etc. Show respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.
Hours: PRN, 4 hours/week

Job Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist (PT) is an individual who evaluate, plan, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs for referred patients to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and return to his/her maximum function. Follow hospital department approved policies related to documentation, attendance, education, etc. Show respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.
- Develops individualized treatment programs consistent with patients' diagnosis, status, and goals while establishing goals and plans of care that include realistic and measurable goals in relation to the patients goals, diagnosis, prognosis, learning ability of patient/caregiver, physical/mental status and anticipated lifestyle.
- Implements the treatment plan in collaboration with the treatment team reassesses objective findings, including pain, per department policy while delivering care in a professional and customer oriented manner.
- Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment, and involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment, and continuing care of the patient.
- Identifies and responds appropriately to different patient needs resulting from behavioral health problems, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious/cultural norms.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude in meeting the needs of the unit.
