Principal Trainer, IS&T, First Shift

UC Health is hiring a Full-time Principal Trainer for the IS&T department for the First shift to work remotely within IN, KY, or OH.

Responsibilities

The trainer will be responsible for developing and implementing a training program for their respective application(s). Additionally, they will be responsible for training and credentialing additional classroom trainers to assist with end-user training, coordinating training for new software releases and updates, and coordinating effectively with team members and assist partner trainers during classroom sessions. Furthermore, they will provide learning and application support to end-users within both traditional and virtual classroom settings.
  • As well as responsible for facilitating computer-based training labs, participating and contributing to problem and issue identification and resolution, demonstrating flexibility in meeting educational needs of customers, providing clear, effective, and knowledgeable delivery of class material, demonstrating proficient question answering skills, facilitating other learning interactions such as one-on-one consultations and computer-based training labs, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic learning environment, properly tracking and documenting class attendance and class status in training tracking system, scoring and reporting test results in a timely manner, providing student evaluations for all classes, conducting necessary clean up, filing, and follow up, effectively managing all physical aspects of the student's learning experience, and preparing facility and all class materials prior to class time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider a combination of relevant and education.
  • Successfully complete initial Epic Certification for one or more Epic applications as determined by UC Health
  • Maintain Epic certifications, proficiencies, and badges by completing an NVT self-assessment or any required
  • Application Essentials requirements for each certified application.
  • Prefer 1-2 years experience teaching technology application courses.
