Shift: First shift, 8:30a-5p
Responsible for providing valet parking services for patients and visitors in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Deliver a high level of customer service to UC Health patients and visitors while facilitating assistance entering and exiting the facilities, parking administration, traffic flow, way-finding and provides directions and/or maps to clinics, offices, and ancillary buildings.
Responsibilities
Consistently demonstrates excellent customer service interacting with patients and visitors while facilitating driver assistance entering and exiting any parking facility; provides way-finding and directional information to the surrounding buildings and UC Health campus � 30% � Demonstrates the ability to safely operate numerous types of vehicles including automatic and standard shifts. Parks and retrieves cars in a timely, safe and efficient manner. Ensure the parked cars are locked and that keys are stored safely and/or returned to the owner. � 25% � Proactively open car doors when visitors arrive and depart. Assist patients and visitors in and out their vehicles � during arrival and departure, Including Medicare drivers dropping off or picking up a patient for service. When necessary, assist and escort wheelchair patients to the front desk area � 25% As needed, assist with loading and unloading patient items � Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of UC Health policies, safety hazards, compliance issues or any unusual occurrences. Operates and maintains parking equipment; ensuing equipment is properly functioning resolves/refers issues appropriately � 10% � Perform other duties as assigned. � 10% | Review the physical demands and assign an overall average percentage of time this position performs these activities.
