Our team is responsible for completing referral information, verifying insurance coverage, and obtaining authorizations from insurance companies via payer portal website or phone call.

Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in registration, billing, customer service, or managed care organization preferred

Responsibilities
Epic Accounts:
- Create/Complete data fields in referral form including authorization information and link to scheduled encounter in Epic.
Workqueues:
- Perform revenue cycle functions within assigned workqueues for Internal Medicine Authorizations in Epic.
- Assist other team members in assignments or projects.
Productivity and Communication:
- Must maintain facility established productivity standards and Patient Accounts Quality Guidelines. Reports improvements, problems and changes as it relates to insurance verification to Department Management. Performs other duties as assigned in PBO Authorizations.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in registration, billing, customer service, or managed care organization preferred
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Insurance and Coding Knowledge
- Analytical skills; able to problem solve.
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and ability to deal with customers who are often adversarial.
- Ability to interact independently to resolve customer service issues.
